The assigned color challenge revealed later in the meeting. The current charity block is playful pinwheels. High lights from the officer’s meeting were that erring on the side of caution was the strategy for the new month or so as the state begins to reopen. There could be a possibility of small group online workshops. QuiltCon has been cancelled for 2021. They are changing the platform to an online one called “QuiltCon Together”. The charity committee has received instructions for the Community Outreach Challenge Quilt. June’s sewing Saturday will also be replaced with two virtual sessions. The retreat will be capped at 50% which means it has reached full and there is a waiting list available in case of any changes. The program was a sewing space scavenger hunt. Groups of 3-4 played a game in their sewing space.

Diane has forwarded the PO Box to her home through June. An annual subscription to Smore was purchased do to the good feedback on the newsletter. Diane is still working on simplifying the square/weeby payments. Audit will move to zoom meetings. The QuiltCon guidelines are in and will be sent out soon. Sew-signment sale and Brews to Benefit are still TBD. The dye workshop has a possibility of being rescheduled for the end of August. The retreat refund policies were put in place. Amanda will send out an email. The guild library has two interested, Carole and Fern. Officers working on reorganizing the hand-off and election processes to allow for a smoother transition.
