Welcome to the Rocket City Modern Quilt Guild!

We are elated that you have decided to join our guild. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned quilter there is something for you.

Our guild meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.  Social time is over dinner at Taziki's from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with the general meeting from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. Our meetings are held in a hybrid format. If you wish to join us in person, our location is currently the Community Room of the Publix Super Market at Airport and Whitesburg (4851 Whitesburg Drive, Huntsville, AL).  We also offer our meetings via Zoom. (Please email for the password).

Our guild began in 2011 as a way for modern quilters with the same interests and goals to come together and collaborate. We like to try new techniques, share ideas, make friends, and give back to our community.  This is the place for you to learn as well as share your talent and skills.

Our monthly meetings consist of a “Sew and Tell”, current guild business, and a program. We have regular Sewing Saturdays, a vibrant community outreach program, and regular workshops, challenges and sew-a-longs.

We are so glad you are here, and we welcome your participation. To join, please use the links below to pay dues and complete the new member form.

RCMQG is happy to offer all of our programming and membership on an equity pricing model. This supports our mission to develop and encourage the art of modern quilting by making our guild accessible to as many people as possible, while ensuring fair compensation for speakers and teachers. Once you are registered, take a moment to review the "getting started" information and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Sew Glad You Chose Us!

Sincerely,
Pamela Casey
