Seaglass quilte workship will be in two parts. May 15th and 22nd. Drop and Swap day will be at Sweet Home Quilting. Quiltcon 2022 dates have been announced. The Green Pea Press fundraiser was very successful. Quiltcon 2022 Challenge Quilt guidelines have been announced. The theme is angles. Kerry will be taking idea submissions for a vote. The Scrap stripes challenge was issued for mini or mug rug.
This meeting took place via zoom. All officers were present. Make modern postcards have been distributed! Amanda has begun contacting companies. Many have begun shipping. Monthly Financial report from Adrienne is pending. Adrienne has followed up on tax return in awaiting approval status. Sashiko workshop refunds have been processed. The website is up to date and the roster is almost ready to re-launch updated. We met our Quota for Green Pea Press. Anita has workshops lining up for 2022. The National Quilt Museum has offered resources to the guild for possible programming. Amanda is coordinating with ALVAN program director to potentially align. The in person retreat is full, there are spots left for the at home retreat. Anita is working on the supplies and the activities. Amanda is checking into a speaker opportunity with the Minneapolis quilt guild. Officers are looking into alternatives to the cancelled sashiko workshop. Officers are considering moving Pickup/Dropoff days outside for June. Officers have approved moving to betterworld platform for the auction this year. May speaker is speaking on collage quilts.
