This meeting was held via zoom. Amanda, Kelci, and Diane were in attendance. Amanda is still vetting alternatives to our current account. Kelci is still working on the making of the roster. She is vetting free pdf software. Amanda resolved the insurance issue with storage sense. All the retreat requests and reimbursements have been paid. Treasurer handoffs are in process. Kelci is working on organizing guild photos for the social media handoff. The QuiltCon Quilt is pieced, and the back is made. Kerry is going to sandwich and quilting will begin. Anita has offered to take over the pillowcase program from Kerry, this will give Kerry the ability to focus more on the charity quilts and fabric inventory. Kelci will reach out to Kate about auction prep. The calendar idea proposed may have options if the guild takes interest. A survey will go out to members about interest. Programming for the end of the year is set. Some of this year’s programming may be rescheduled for next year. Made fabric challenge is set to reveal in October. The dye workshop was a success. Handoffs are beginning. One more parking lot party will be scheduled for October.
The Meeting was held via Zoom. There were 15 members in attendance. The monthly questions was do you prefer solids or prints, and which do you have more of in your stash? The current challenge is the made fabric challenge. At the officers meetings, take aways from the August meeting were discussed. Planning for one more workshop before the year is out. Quiltcon submissions are now open. The annual swap will open in September. Current block of the quarter is Quarter Circles. Anita has stepped up to help with the pillow case program. Quiltcon Community Outreach Quilt is coming together. Some of the quilting is already started. There is a Pickup/Drop off day scheduled for October 24th and S&R. The dye workshop is this weekend, and the retreat is the following weekend! The votes for leadership are in. Amanda will remain President. Anita will be VP, and the Programming chair. Kelci will remain Secretary. Adrienne will become the new Treasurer. Kerry will remain the charity chair, and linda will remain the membership chair. Social media will be a standalone chair this year, and Cyrstal will head it up. Programming is on Color Theory for Quilters.

Storage sense increased invoice for issues with insurance. Amanda is working to straighten it out. All retreat balances have been paid, and at home balances are paid. There are 9 attendees and 5 at home.Three more attendees have joined the dye workshop. There have been issues with consigner reimbursements for the sew-signment sale. Diane has discovered 6months is the time limit with square, so these must be done with checks. Kate is contacting those 3 people. Officers discussed adding a formal policy on returns and cancellations. Kerry has the Quiltcon Top pieces back and together. Next step is quilting. Officers discussed saving money by using google docs for the newsletter. Kelci will use smore through the end of the year. An idea for a calendar fundraiser was proposed at the last meeting. A survey will go out to the members. Programming for September is cancelled due to the situation with covid. Amanda will put together a presentation on color theory as it applies to quilters. Glen has agreed to do her improve program virtually. Giftables challenge reveals in September. Made fabric will reveal in October. Dye workshop has been rescheduled again. There was an issue with postage. Guild nominations have been accepted. Voting will begin after the meeting. Kelci has updated the website responsibilities in to the Secretary documentation. Amanda has updated the VP position to contain donation requests, and Diane has updated the treasurer documentation. The August meeting showed the officers that our members hold all three values very high. Members want direction and bite sized projects. Making friends needs to expand to inclusion and outreach. Members also want to find ways to stay connected during covid.
