Amanda reviewed the current guild events, including: (i) Annual Guild Membership Renewal - members were reminded to renew their membership by the end of January in order to be retained in both the guild and national membership rosters; (ii) Surveys - members were advised that two surveys will be headed their way later this month — a feedback survey and a programming survey.
Bingo cards were distributed and the card is valid through the end of January.
The QuiltCon Community Outreach quilt is in the final stages of completion with the submission deadline of December 15th. The guild voted to name the quilt “Migration”.
Amanda presented the 2022 Year in Review presentation which highlighted accomplishments in membership, programming, DEAI, fundraising, and community outreach.
The 2022 Grand Prize drawings were held. Crystal Brewer wind the Community Outreach prize. Danica Pruett won the Auction Donation prize.
The 2023 Board members were announced: (i) President - Amanda Conger; (ii) Treasurer - Beverly Keyser; (iii) Secretary - Pam Casey; (iv) VP of Guild Relationships - Danica Pruett; (v) VP of Community Outreach - Linda Hornsby; (vi) VP of Programming - Debby Lee; (vii) VP of Fundraising - Adrienne Osborne; and (viii) VP of DEAI - Amanda Conger.
Members were invited to participate in the 2023 Stitched in Color Sew Along, a scrappy log cabin quilt.
Secret Stitcher partners were revealed and holiday gift exchanges were opened. Sew & Tell presentation was shown.
