Each officer reviewed their upcoming responsibilities for August:

- For Treasurer, Adrienne noted she continues to work with Redstone regarding new fraudulent charges appearing on the guild credit card. New credit cards have been ordered. She has issued numerous refunds for the retreats. The C&T book orders will be delivered to Amanda’s or Charlotte’s house.
- For Secretary, Pam noted that the website is current; the August newsletter was distributed to members on August 7th.
Amanda noted the DEA&I Committee meeting in July was cancelled due to unexpected issues. The outreach event planning is the next priority for the Committee.
Ongoing guild events were discussed, including: (i) Bingo - Adrienne sent out Q3 Bingo cards; (ii) the July Lone Robin design element is Sticks, Strips and Stripes; (iii) Danica noted on August 27th the MQG Webinar Study Group will discuss Episode 206, Transparency with Yvonne Fuchs; and (iv) Board Game Night for October will again be the Island Escape Room.
Amanda noted the Sewing Saturday at S&R is cancelled for the next two months due to storage space issues at S&R.
The officers discussed issues with the retreat location and date; several members had to cancel due to conflicts with the date, and Red Rooster is enforcing a minimum of 12 participants. The officers will send a survey to members with various options.
Elections will be held in September. Pam and Amanda will remain in their positions, for 2023. The guild is in need of a fundraising committee chair. The guild hopes that members will volunteer for positions once in-person Sewing Saturday’s begin again. The officers suggested holding a meet and greet as well as celebrate volunteers with incentives.
Amanda noted that the COVID levels in Huntsville are at a “high” level and encourages mask wearing for in-person events. Officers were encouraged to be on the lookout for places to hold in-person events.
The meeting adjourned at 10:50 PM.
